Hubilo allows you to make your event app compliant and collect implicit and explicit consent from users pertaining to data collection and processing.
One of the most important aspects of this is not only the collection of consent but also the correct type of consent from the users.
Implicit consent — also known as deemed or indirect consent — can mean two things:
-
You volunteer personal information for an organization to collect, use, or disclose for purposes that would be considered obvious at the time, or
-
You provide personal information to an organization and it is used in a way that clearly benefits you and the organization’s expectations are reasonable.
Implied consent is usually inferred from your actions and the current circumstance you are in.
Opt-in is a form of consent given by users, acknowledging interest in a product or service and authorizing a third party to contact them with further information. "Opting in" generally refers to email communication and is often used in eCommerce for permission to send newsletters, product sales, and other marketing material to customers.
On the Hubilo Dashboard, you can simply set this up using the process detailed below:
Login to the dashboard and click on the event you are working upon.
-

-

If you want to set anything specific you can always add new consent boxes and choose the type of consent.
