Understanding how presentation permissions work for guest speakers and file owners:
- Guest Speakers:
If a guest speaker joins after the session has started, they won’t automatically have permission to control the presentation. The host or file owner must manually grant them access. - File Owners (Speakers):
If a speaker who uploaded the presentation joins after the session has started, they will automatically receive control of the slides, since they are the file owner.
You can modify who has control over the slides at any time during the session.
How to Change Permissions:
- Click on the “Presenter Control” icon:
Available in the side menu (marked as A)
Also accessible directly on the stage (marked as B)
- This will open the Presenter Control Popup.
- In the popup, select the speakers you want to grant slide control access to
Once selected, the chosen speakers will be able to navigate through the slides during the session.
While sharing the slide, you can also select the permission of the control.
