Timeline editor - Drag, split and remove clips using timeline

The timeline editor gives you full control over your video content—so you can craft the perfect flow, remove unwanted parts, and deliver polished, engaging clips with ease.

Drag & Re-arrange Clips

Creating your ideal sequence is as simple as dragging:

  • Drag clips directly onto the timeline to add them to your short.
  • Use the left and right handles on each clip to fine-tune its length.
  • Rearrange clips by dragging them.

Split Clips at the Perfect Moment

Need to divide a long clip into smaller, focused parts? Use the Split feature:

  1. Click to select a clip on the timeline.
  2. Move the playhead/marker to the exact frame where you want to split.
  3. Click the ‘Split’ button to break the clip into two.

Use this to isolate key moments or trim unnecessary parts with precision.

Method 2: Smart Remove via Transcript
