Choose Session Layout

The Hubilo Session Layout option allows you to select the layout of your session. There are two types of layouts available

  1. Standard session layout - This enables you to give your audience a more detailed and speaker-focused space.

  2. Enhanced Session layout -The main session screen is surrounded by animated virtual session tables where virtual attendees can sit and interact with each other, and even hop onto different tables. The session tables can scale up to accommodate up to 2000 attendees, making this perfect for events of any size.

  3. Watch Party: With this layout, you will have an option for Watch Party, wherein virtual attendees can watch online sessions with other attendees at their tables while actively chatting and interacting with them.

Steps to select the Session Layout:

 

Open dashboard > Event > Session > Advanced > select the radio button to set a layout > Save.

 

 

  • Standard session layout: In this layout, the video player takes the center stage & all engagement options such as Chat, QnA, Poll & Audience are displayed on the side panel.

     

     

     

     

  • Enhanced Session layout: The main session screen is surrounded by animated virtual session tables where virtual attendees can sit and interact with each other, and even hop onto different tables. The session tables can scale up to accommodate up to 2000 attendees, making this perfect for events of any size


    Further engagement options such as Q&A, Chat & Poll will be available on the side panel.

     

Enable Watch Party With Enhanced Session layout:

Once you have selected Enhance session layout > you will get the option to enable Watch Party > save

 

 

How does Watch Party work for attendees?

 

Step 1: Attendees will open the event platform on their Google Chrome Browser > login to the event.

 

Step 2: Open the Agenda Tab > click on Join Session

 

Step 3: Once in the session window > the system will automatically assign a table to the attendee / or / the attendee can click on any table to seat.

An attendee can start a watch party only when seated at a table. If the attendee is in the lobby area (i.e. they have not joined a table), they will not be able to start/join a watch party.

 

 

Step 4: Once on a table > ensure to give permission to access Microphone & Camera.

 

A window will open on the bottom of your screen with your audio/video & once other users will also seat at your table, their audio/video will be visible as well.

 

 

On the right side, you will get the options to control audio, video & related settings.

Important pointers for Enhanced Session Layout:

  • Choose Session Layout will be offered as an experience across all plans at no added cost.

  • The experience is only available on the Desktop. On the Mobile & tab, the attendee will view the v2 session experience.

  • The experience supports up to 2000 users over web desktop devices.

  • Microphone & Camera access is required on the browser in order to experience Watch Party. Recommended browser is Google Chrome.

  • Interpretation in other languages & custom iframe integration will not be supported.

  • In hybrid events, the enhanced session layout will only be visible to virtual attendees. For an onsite attendee, the standard session experience will be valid.

  • Embed apps in the side panel are supported with the enhanced session layout.
